Step One: Plan a surprise San Francisco trip.

Step Two: Explore the city in the least safe way possible.

Step Three: Gain four pounds by eating a Chinese food feast in China town, giant burritos in the mission district and show up for your have-to-make-two-months-in-advanced-reservation at Gary Danko & enjoy the most incredible 3 course meal with wine pairing – ever.

Step Four: Keep the weight on by attending a progressive interactive dining experience at The Hobbit in Orange, have drinks in the patio then head to the wine cellar where the fun starts.

Step Five: Participate in a surprise mud run.  4 miles of mud, running, cuts, bruises, slides, swimming and laughing in 80 degree weather.

Step Six: Recover from the run by watching Jurassic World at one of those fancy movie theaters with full dinner service from your comfortable recliner chair.

Step Seven: Go to Descanso Beach Club in Avalon, Catalina Island and enjoy your lounge chairs while drinking cocktails in the sun. Don’t check your sunblock for expiration date so you can be bright red and peeling at work the next day.

Step Eight: Write about it a month later.

    Awesome post!

Do you know what else would also fit this headline?

Kicking off the anniversary with breakfast burritos and Irish coffees at the airport Continental breakfast “hacks”

Restaurants that give you to go breakfast muffins after dinner.

    Fernet-Branca.

    Tenderloin (for the bruises)

Wal-itin — cause name brands are for suckas.
