All Aboard The QUEEN Mary.

One of my favorite things to do is explore where I live. (The biggest thing I’ve learned from traveling.) I didn’t really know much about the Queen Mary as of a few years ago, let alone that you could stay there – a docked historical hotel!

M & I stayed there a few weeks ago; ate at the famous St. Winston’s, had drinks in their art deco bar, and we explored & toured all throughout until the next morning.

The feeling you get walking around the ship is like going back in time to the 1930’s. This ship went all over the world, pictures of it in New York are incredible. The thing is so massive, and there are so many levels and rooms, look outs. Certain parts like the an isolation room were kept enclosed so you can see what it looked like back in the day. This was were sick passengers were kept. I loved learning about the war wives it carried, the fancy first class passengers, and the history in general.
