Day 6 was weird.
I didn’t sleep until the sun came up. I took my family to the airport at 5AM. I went to eat after work with work friends to pass the time, because I would have gotten 45 minutes of sleep before having to be up again. I dropped off family at the airport, then went to sleep for the day. Woke up to eat, make cabbage juice (more on this later) and then had enough time to take my Mom to the airport, and make it to the last studio yoga class. I just noticed that the weekend schedules are much more limited than during the week. Last class on Saturday is around 5:30, and on Sunday around 1:30. I’ll have to remember this for the next few weekends.
I dropped my mom off, and headed back on the freeway en route to yoga. 10 minutes later she called me. If you don’t already know this, new law – not sure to what countries, but for sure France – makes it so you need to have at least 3 months left on your passport past your travel date. My Mom’s passport expires next month, so they didn’t let her board her flight. I turned back to pick her up.
I missed yoga class, so I started a YouTube class, which my Mom interrupted asking why I didn’t invite her to do it with me. So we started a new one together. I like the comfort of doing yoga from home, but I still think I prefer a class – because I like the teacher’s giving different options for poses. I haven’t found a YouTube video that does that.
I was glad I had the flexibility of squeezing in yoga even though I couldn’t do a class.
